In 2008, Melissa received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Carroll College and her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, from Carroll University, in 2010. Melissa is certified in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (Dry Needling Techniques) for treatment of myofascial trigger points through Myopain Seminars. She is certified with the Schroth-Barcelona Institute for treatment of scoliosis and she has completed the SEAS – Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis Accreditation Program. She also has the privilege of volunteering for courses where therapists are learning how to treat patients with scoliosis. Melissa has treated patients with a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses throughout the entire body. She is passionate about providing care for individuals with various physical needs in order to help them increase in ability to serve their families and communities.
